As we know, healthy eating is so important with lymphoedema! I’m always searching for yummy recipes to make healthy interesting!
Hawaiian is one of my favourite flavours! This recipe is adapted from @atypical_ways on Instagram. I adore her recipes. Most of my meals stem from her ideas as they inspire vme so much to eat cleanly but with flavour which isn’t boring! Please check her out on Instagram.
I’ve used the base recipe for a Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich on tuna steaks instead!
All it takes:
1tbsp soy sauce
1tbsp pineapple juice
1/2 tbsp ketchup
1/8tbsp minced garlic.
Season both sides of tuna steaks, marinade for around 2 hours.
Preheat grill, pan or griddle. Cook both sides to taste (I say to taste as some people prefer theirs a little more pink in the middle and also they vary in size and thickness).
Serve with mixed veg of your choice 🙂
